The Wedding

Tropical Elegant

Our wedding will be held outdoors and we would love to see bright, tropical colors that will complement the beautiful Caldera backdrop

Black tie is not necessary

We suggest that women wear a cocktail dress or a dressy co-ord

We suggest that men wear a lightweight suit or a button-down and pants
Jackets recommended but not required (ties are not required)

Evenings may get slightly chilly so we recommend bringing along a light jacket or sweater

What not to wear?

We kindly ask that women avoid wearing white or off whites including ivory, eggshell, or light beige

We also ask that ladies refrain from wearing gold dresses

What is the dress code?

The wedding will be cocktail attire

While there is no strict dress code that we require you to follow, we have a Tropical Elegant theme we would love for you to join.

Can I bring my little ones?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding week. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the intimacy of the venue, we ask that the RSVP's are kept to our invited guests. If you would like to bring someone, please speak with us first!

When can I start booking my flights and hotels?

We recommend that everyone book their flights and hotels as soon you are ready!

Is my attendance required at all Wedding events?

We would love to have you with us for our entire wedding week, however we understand that this may not be possible for everyone

When you RSVP, you have the option to indicate which events you're able to attend

What do "optional" events mean?

Events marked "Optional" have been organized as additional activities for anyone who wishes to attend

Unfortunately we are unable to cover the costs for all of our guests -- should you choose to join, we kindly ask that you cover your own expenses for these activities

Other Packing Essentials

Santorini is hot and sunny this time of year, but sometimes chilly at night
We recommend bringing a hat, eyewear, and sunscreen for the daytime, plus extra layers in case of cooler evenings

Transportation


Wedding Week

All of the events listed for the wedding week either take place at the the wedding villas or have transportation included


Personal Travel

There are public buses on the island, though they can be unreliable

You can use the Uber app to connect you with local taxis, however there are no Uber drivers on the island
Taxis are privately run and prices vary - see our recommendation below

Cars or scooters can be rented if you feel comfortable driving, be wary of small or winding roads


Our Recommendation

For all personal travel needs including to and from the airport, as well as any personal time or sightseeing, we are working with a large local transport company, Santo Dreams Travel -- They will be offering our guests preferential rates and availability

Airport transport cost for our guests: €30 for up to 4 people one way
€5 for each additional passenger

The village of Megalochori is a 15 minute walk (4 minute drive) from the main villa. The village itself is very walkable and has a range of cafes / restaurants, as well as some small shops.

Slightly further out (5 min drive, too far to walk) is Pyrgos village which, similar to Megalochori, is walkable and contains a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops

Tap water is safe to drink in Santorini, however it doesn't taste very good
It can be used for teeth brushing and bathing, but we recommend bottled water for drinking
